Modèle phare de la série Elitist, cette Epiphone Broadway est une archtop haut de gamme conçue pour offrir le meilleur de la tradition jazz, avec une lutherie japonaise irréprochable. Produite à la légendaire usine Terada, elle rivalise sans complexe avec de nombreuses Gibson plus onéreuses, tant en termes de finition que de sonorité.

Ce modèle présente le tampon “USED” apposé sur la tête, ce qui indique qu’il a été vendu via le programme de reconditionnement de Gibson/Epiphone aux États-Unis. Ce statut fait suite à l’inspection de deux petites fissures superficielles dans le vernis, parfaitement stables et sans aucun impact structurel ou sonore. Ces légères marques, désormais corrigées ou stabilisées, ont justifié l’apposition du tampon “USED”, bien qu’elles soient purement esthétiques.

This Epiphone Broadway is a flagship model from the Elitist series, designed to offer the best of jazz archtop tradition with outstanding Japanese craftsmanship. Built at the legendary Terada factory, it stands confidently alongside much more expensive Gibsons in terms of tone and finish quality.
Specifications include a laminated maple body with arched top, a three-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, a 25.5” scale length, and mother-of-pearl block inlays. Electronics feature two Epiphone USA humbuckers or Gibson Classic ’57 pickups, depending on the version. The guitar sports a high-gloss transparent sunburst finish that beautifully highlights the flame maple grain.
The “USED” stamp on the back of the headstock indicates that this instrument was sold through Gibson/Epiphone’s official refurbishment program in the USA. In this case, the designation was due to the presence of two minor superficial cracks in the finish, which have been fully inspected and confirmed to be stable and purely cosmetic. These light marks, now sealed or corrected, have no impact on the instrument’s structure, tone, or playability.
